
Jennifer has always wanted to become a multitasking superstar. While she was a kid Jennifer was a fan of many different music styles, but she particularly loved Afro-Caribbean musics like merengue, salsa, and the bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream music such as hip hop pop, pop and R&B. While she was a big lover of music, her attraction to the movie industry is also strong. West Side Story, a musical performed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her biggest inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was also entertainer as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, attended for eight years of Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After a four-year stay at the school, she was able to graduate from Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer excelled in athletics throughout her school years and played track and field as well as tennis. Her entire life was living in a 2-story house within the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer was forced to leave her house at age was 18 , and moved in with her parents. Lopez was employed at a legal firm throughout the day. She also took off dance gigs at night.
