Nicole Ari Parker, an American actor, who has appeared in film and television and on stage is best known for her role as Teri Joseph, a fiery lawyer in the show the show on Showtime called Soul Food. She is now known by her husband's name, Nikki Kodjoe. Her acting talent was evident since childhood. A Maryland high school contest gave her the best actress award. Alongside her involvement in the theater, she also worked with the Washington Ballet Company. She earned the degree of Acting at New York University. Contractor who was raised by his parents in Nigeria and Mumbai prior to turning 7, had traveled across the globe and lived through diverse cultures when he was a kid. She was a part of the audition for it during the Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and was awarded. After two weeks of performances, she got glowing reviews. The production was recognized as the top production in Canada by the critics. The conservatory in Stratford takes eight people with four females, and a handful of additional people to take a 20 weeks crash course. Contractor was guaranteed a spot in the next season of plays and landed the role as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
